Lachie has flown almost every kind of aircraft you can imagine. From WWI bi-planes and iconic WWII fighters, such as the Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk, right through to modern fighter jets. His rotary experience includes the Bell 47, made famous by the TV series *M*A*S*H, and probably the most recognisable helicopter of all time, the Bell UH-1 Huey.
As Chief Pilot at Fleet Adventures, Lachie has the safest hands in the country. With over 30 years of flight under his belt, Lachie’s career spans a wide variety of flying experiences, from cattle mustering in the remotest corners of Australia to conducting live net capture of deer for scientific research.

Owner, Lachie, knows all about adrenaline. His extensive career currently includes a 12-year stint as an international race pilot, competing in the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada.
After spending two seasons in the Formula 1 class, Lachie moved into the fastest racing category on earth – the Jet class. Racing at speeds of over 500mph, 50 feet above ground, this is considered the NASCAR of the skies. Lachie remains a world-ranked race pilot and has no intention of slowing down any time soon!
